About Katy Edwards wellness

A little bit about me & why I'm here...

Hi!  I'm Katy and I've been in the coaching business since 2020 but have been extremely passionate about mental health for the past 10 years.  Throughout my life's experience I've come to realize that I'm not meant to do life alone, none of us are.  Whether it's leaning on friends, talking to my therapist, husband or coaches, I've always sought out support and progress in my life through the people in my life.  

Let's face it, in this life, we need one another.   

People are meant to help people and that's why I'm here, to help others. 

 

I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

I am rooted in faith, happily married to my husband Allan and have a beautiful little dog named Bailey.

A wellness coach is your personal guide and support to living your best life!


My goal is to help clients discover a life they truly enjoy living every single day.  My coaching style focuses on sustainable, long-term transformation.  This means I emphasize self-awareness, mindset, and self-discovery at the core of all my programs. While nutrition and movement are key components, mindset always takes precedence.


Together, we’ll progress through small, impactful steps that lay a solid foundation for lasting change. This approach not only helps you build sustainable habits, but also ensures that you can enjoy the process of change along the way.


Instead of chasing quick fixes, we’ll work together to deeply understand your unique path, creating long-lasting health and fulfillment.  There are no unrealistic expectations—just steady, intentional progress toward your best self.


Each of my coaching programs is unique, personalized, and designed to meet you exactly where you are on your wellness journey.  Here's how we get started and what you can expect throughout the process:


 

  1. Initial 40-Day Program
    To establish a solid foundation for our work together, every program begins with an initial 40-day program. This time is dedicated to setting a baseline for future progress and uncovering key insights about your mindset, habits, and goals. This is where we’ll get to know each other and lay the groundwork for everything that comes next. A lot of self-discovery will happen here.
     
  2. Weekly Reflective Check-Ins
    Every week, we’ll have a check-in where you can reflect on your progress, challenges, and successes. This is a space to celebrate small wins, mentally process obstacles, and adjust your goals if needed. These reflections help us stay aligned and focused on what matters most and identify if something isn't working.
     
  3. Monthly In-Person Assessments
    Once a month, we’ll meet in person to assess where you are in the coaching process. These sessions give us an opportunity to dive deeper into your journey, take a look at your growth, track your progress, and adjust our approach to ensure we’re always moving in the direction that best supports you.
     
  4. Ongoing, Evolving Coaching
    Your coaching experience will adapt and evolve as we uncover more about what best supports you. While structured elements like nutrition and workout plans provide consistency, much of the program will be customized as we go. This means that different lessons, tools, and resources will be introduced as your supports and goals become clearer—creating a program that is truly tailored to you.
     
  5. Optional Add-Ons
    I offer optional add-ons such as clarity phone calls to provide extra support whenever needed. These calls are designed to give you a focused space to address specific challenges, get clarity on a decision, refine your approach, or just feel heard with what you're going through. They can be scheduled depending on your needs and the direction you want to take in your program. Additional add-ons are continuously being developed to enhance your experience.
     
  6. Overall Emphasis on Mindset & Self-discovery
    While this program includes customized nutrition, movement plans, and wellness strategies, the greatest focus will always be on mindset and self-discovery. These elements are foundational to achieving lasting change in both body and mind. By prioritizing these core areas, I help you build habits that lead to sustainable, long-term wellness—both physically and mentally—while really learning to enjoy every aspect of the program and move forward with the same feeling throughout life.



The length of a wellness coaching program depends on the individual and their goals and what they'd like to do in their personal case.  Here are some of the options I currently offer:


  • Baseline 40 program with support (40 day program)
  • 1:1 Coaching  (4 months with Baseline 40 included) 
  • Clarity Calls (an odd-on or stand alone)
  • Bootcamps (offered in the summer) 
  • More offerings coming...


Yes!  I'm also a podcaster and host my own show  with my husband, where we talk a lot about wellness, relationships, lifetstyle, faith and health and offer a lot of tips on to create a healthier lifestyle in mind, body and faith.
